Services

What We Do

Start-to-finish environmental services.

Unlike consultants who stop at the report, we investigate, remediate, and manage the regulatory process ourselves.

Environmental Expertise from Assessment through Implementation

The Reynolds Group combines environmental consulting, engineering, and field services to assess risks, implement solutions, and guide projects through California’s regulatory process.

Site Assessment & Due Diligence

Understand environmental conditions before buying, selling, financing, or redeveloping a property. We perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, review historical records and existing reports, and investigate potential concerns so clients can make informed decisions.

  • Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
  • Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Environmental Due Diligence
  • Real Estate Transaction Support

Site Investigation & Remediation

We investigate the nature and extent of contamination in soil, groundwater, and soil vapor, then develop and implement appropriate cleanup strategies. Our capabilities include pilot testing, remediation system design and installation, soil vapor extraction, groundwater treatment, excavation, and ongoing operation and monitoring.

  • Site Characterization
  • Soil & Groundwater Investigation
  • Soil Vapor Assessment
  • Soil & Groundwater Remediation
  • UST Removal & Closure
  • Remediation System Design
  • Installation & Operation; PFAS Assessment

PFAS Assessment

We evaluate potential sources of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), develop sampling workplans, investigate affected environmental media, and coordinate with regulatory agencies to address findings and determine appropriate next steps.

Regulatory Strategy & Site Closure

We help clients respond to agency requirements, address data gaps, and develop technically supported paths toward regulatory closure. Our team prepares workplans and reports, coordinates with DTSC, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, and local agencies, and manages technical requirements with the client’s schedule and budget in mind.

  • Regulatory Agency Coordination
  • Environmental Compliance
  • Cleanup Program Management
  • Site Closure & No Further Action (NFA)

Brownfield Redevelopment & Cleanup Funding

We help owners and developers evaluate environmentally impaired properties and plan investigations and cleanup around their intended use. For eligible projects, we assist with cleanup funding applications, including the Site Cleanup Subaccount Program (SCAP), and provide ongoing grant reporting and reimbursement documentation.

  • Brownfield Redevelopment
  • Cleanup Funding Applications & Grant Administration
  • Corrective Action Planning

Litigation Support & Expert Services

We support attorneys and clients with independent technical review, environmental investigations, remediation cost evaluations, and expert witness services. Our analysis helps clarify site conditions, evaluate competing technical conclusions, and explain environmental issues in clear, defensible terms.

  • Expert Witness Services
  • Technical Peer Review
  • Remediation Cost Evaluation

Vapor Intrusion Assessment & Mitigation

We evaluate whether subsurface contamination may affect indoor air through soil vapor, sub-slab, and indoor air testing. Our team performs mitigation pilot testing, designs and installs sub-slab depressurization systems, and provides operation, maintenance, and performance monitoring.

  • Soil Vapor, Sub-Slab & Indoor Air Assessment
  • Vapor Intrusion Evaluation
  • Mitigation Pilot Testing & System Design
  • Sub-Slab Depressurization System Installation
  • System Operation, Maintenance & Performance Monitoring
