Service: USEPA Superfund -- Responsible Party Representation
On occasions, The Reynolds Group is hired by entities that may be party to a Superfund action. The US Federal Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) designates certain properties or areas as "Superfund Sites" and seeks to recover costs to remedy from responsible parties. The Reynolds Group has represented numerous potentially responsible parties (RP's) since 1989. Many of The Reynolds Group's clients, through The Reynolds Group's work combined with strong legal counsel, have received "de minimis" classifications meaning that their liability for participating in financing cleanup was limited.
