
Prior to joining The Reynolds Group (TRG), Mr. Nunez held positions of significant responsibility at an ENR 500 international, environmental firm. Today he manages, directs, and is responsible for the assessment and remediation of a portfolio of projects for The Reynolds Group.
In his technical capacity, Mr. Nunez conceives, designs, and manages the implementation of assessment, feasibility studies and remediation. He completes field work and produces technical reports under the direction of The Reynolds Groups' California Registered Civil Engineers. Mr. Nunez manages a staff of up to ten TRG personnel. He manages multiple investigations or portfolios at any one time and is expert in field investigations. His significant technical experience includes complicated assessments, subsurface investigations and remediation. Subsurface investigations range from soil gas surveys for chlorinated compounds, to soil investigations, to installation of deep groundwater monitoring wells. Remediation has included air sparging, excavation of soil and disposal, vapor extraction, groundwater and pump and treat, and bioremediation of a variety of chemicals. Mr. Nunez leads the company in aggressively moving projects to closure while maintaining a good working relationship with the regulatory agencies. Mr. Nunez is responsible for pricing and executing all of his project work.
Currently, he manages a diverse portfolio of projects which involve underground storage tank clean up, Super Fund Sites and International Phase I and Phase II work. He also has a special training in the NPDES Storm water Permit, including watershed management, illicit discharge investigation, urban runoff, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), water quality analysis, and public education. His project experience is presented below.
Mr. Nunez completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a minor in Global Environmental Sustainability from the University of California at Irvine. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science with a specialization in Hydrogeology from California State University, Fullerton. He is a California Registered Environmental Assessor.
