Many real estate brokers are unfamiliar with environmental issues. The Reynolds Group routinely assists real estate brokers to understand and develop options for dealing with potential environmental concerns. Typically, The Reynolds Group's work starts with an initial consultation with a Principal of the Firm which The Reynolds Group usually performs at no charge.

Many times, financing of projects is contingent upon peforming some sort of environmental work. Completing real estate tranactions may hinge on the outcome of environmental investigations and the "cost" or "responsibility" for remediation.

The Reynolds Group, with its breadth of regulatory knowledge and experience resolving environmental issues, can provide technical consultation and practical implementation steps that provide visibility to real estate brokers and take much of the uncerntainty out of the deal. The Reynolds group also works closely with competent environmental legal counsel and when necessary can be a vital team contributor to the real estate transaction project team.
